Employee of the Year

It is with bittersweet sentiment that we congratulate this year's Employee of the Year.

By the time the Annual Report goes to press Yvonne will have left the Senior Centers due to health issues. It was a sad day for The Senior Centers when we lost Yvonne actually on the day her fellow staff members elected her Employee of the Year.

Yvonne was with the Senior Centers for 15 years and to quote her supervisor and co-workers at the Rutledge Senior Life and Wellness Center she was a real team player and very conscientious. Yvonne started out working in the Adult Daycare department, and then she worked as an Administrative Assistant and later as Service Representative, which we now call Senior Advocate.

In her role as a Senior Advocate, Yvonne conducted assessments on new clients or members, worked as a case manager and provided information and referrals for other senior resources available to the clients.

Yvonne is married and has grown children; a daughter and a son and no grand's.

Yvonne says her job was her life and she is a "wanna be" perfectionist and can relate to seniors and enjoys talking with them. She hopes to volunteer with the Senior Centers

when her health improves.

We feel blessed to have worked with Yvonne.

The Board and staff of the Senior Centers wish Yvonne the best in her retirement.
