Description of Services

Senior Centers of Spartanburg County, Inc. currently operates three centers that offer a variety of educational, recreational, social and wellness programs and activities. The types of programs and services vary from center to center. Click on one of the following facilities to find their offerings.

Senior Life & Wellness Club
Located at 764 North Church Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29302 (864)562-4291, this club offers group dining, exercise and wellness activities and equipment, a computer lab (operated by the Spartanburg Housing Authority), weekly Bible study and educational programs, five days per week. Hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m.daily, excluding holidays.

VSP Club
(Very Special People) is located at 302 East Manning Street, Chesnee, South Caroina 29323 (864)461-0302. Members can chose to attend exercise programs, educational and nutritional programs, learn and complete arts and crafts, and on-site nurse is available three days per week; group dining is enjoyed three days per week. Hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily, excluding holidays and days when local, state or national elections are held.

Pacolet
Located at the T.W. Edwards Recreational facility offers daily activities that include exercise and education and members can enjoy a group meal five days per week. Hours are 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Woodruff
Senior Centers of Spartanburg is pleased to operate a Group Dining program in Woodruff in cooperation with Spartanburg County Parks & Recreation Commission. (864) 476-7967 Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
